ITINERARY

A Day By Day Plan

Assemble to Meet & Greet at Gorakhpur.

Trip Briefing, Drive to Sonauli and Enter Nepal. Complete the Border formalities and head towards Pokhara. (285 kms). Lunch is enroute.

Relax in Pokhara

Pokhara to Jomsom. (186 kms)

Drive/Ride from Jomsom – Muktinath – Ghami (63 kms)

Drive/Ride from Ghami – Lo Manthang – Explore the Monastery and Palace (27 kms)

Explore the ancient Chushang Caves and Golf-course and view of the China border, overnight in Lo Manthang (45-65 kms)

Drive/Ride from Lo Manthang to Kalopani. (97 kms)

Drive/Ride from Kalopani to Pokhara (140 kms)

Relax day in Pokhara and you’re free to take a tour around the Lake Town. Lunch/Dinner can be planned for the group only if you choose to stay back at the hotel.

Drive to Bhairawaha 

After breakfast you check out and start “The Home Run”. Our guide will accompany and assist us to Exit the Nepal Border (10kms), and you continue your drive to your respective destinations.

  • Upper Mustang, TIMS and Annapurna Conservation Area Entry permit of USD 600
  • Vehicle Entry registration fees at customs at the Indo – Nepal border.
  • Nepal Customs, RTO Permits, Tolls for the route we plan for our Upper Mustang Self Drive/Ride Tour.
  • All accommodations, the best basis availability of the region, for the entire trip, on a Twin Sharing basis. *Single room accommodation costs extra – INR 45,000/- Per person
  • All Meals. Tea, Coffee, Cold drinks and snacks (as a group together)
  • 24 liters of bottled drinking water will be provided to you in Pokhara for entire trip.
  • 1 experienced government certified English / Hindi speaking guide for Self-Drive/Ride to Upper Mustang tour from Gorakhpur to Bhairawaha/Sonauli.
  • Assistant Guide if the group exceeds 8-10 people in the group, as per regulations.
  • Salary, allowances, travel expenses, insurance of all staffs.
  • Entry fees for sightseeing spots, Muktinath Temple, Monasteries, Dumba Lake etc.
  • All Parking and entry fees to the places we visit, as required/applicable.
  • 1 4G enabled sim per car. Rest if required to be borne by the individuals.
  • Any first aid requirements, assist an instant/medical emergency, further to which is to be borne by the individual.

  • All expenses of fueling and related to car repair, washing expenses etc.
  • Personal trekking and adventure gear, clothing and accessories, if required.
  • Extra supporting staff, laundry, battery charge, and communication expenses (such as internet charges, and calls)
  • Personal bills and personal choice of expenses like bar bills, deserts, drinks like coffee, juice, snacks, water, chocolate and so on.
  • Expenses incurred due to emergency evacuation, natural disasters, or for personal interest.
  • Tips and any gratitude for staffs and tour guide/s.
  • Any further services not mentioned in ‘Cost Includes Section’.
  • Personal, Travel or any Vehicle (Geographical Extn) Insurance for this tour

This tour has a permit request and a couple of more formalities to be completed in advance hence,

 

  • 50% cost of the booking amount to be made before the 30th of April ‘24 and the remaining 50% by the 30th of April ’24. Bookings will be considered confirmed once the payment is received by the service provider

Refunds

  • 100% of the total cost of the tour, incase of tour cancellation by Travelinkedd due to unavoidable circumstances
  • 10 days or below, is 50% from the tour commencement date, and
  • 7 days or below, is NIL

PRICING DETAILS

The tour price is based on per person on a twin room sharing with 5% GST applicable.
 

INCLUCIONS: 

  • The itinerary covers all the experiences mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Accommodation will be provided in the properties as specified in the itinerary
  • Knowledgeable tour leaders will accompany you throughout the journey.
  • The itinerary includes all mentioned meals.
 

EXCLUSIONS: 

  • Your vehicle cost and fuel expenses.
  • Additional charges for property bookings resulting from unforeseen circumstances like adverse weather conditions.
  • Any expenses arising from vehicle breakdown, unless stated otherwise.
  • Any excursions, activities, or local sightseeing, if modified in between, not explicitly specified as included in the itinerary
  • Anything not explicitly mentioned in the inclusions, including personal expenses, miscellaneous expenses such as alcohol, cigarettes, laundry, and extra room service charges.

IN CASE YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP:

If you decide to cancel your trip, all payments made will not be eligible for a refund. The official date of trip cancellation will be considered as the date when Travelinkedd receives written notice of the cancellation. Our trips adhere to a refund policy that allows for cancellations and 100% refunds up to a specified number of days before the departure date. However, as the trip date gets closer, the percentage of the refund gradually decreases as mentioned below:

  • If you cancel the trip 15 days before the trip, the refund would be 15% of the total amount paid
  • If you cancel the trip 30 days before the trip, the refund amount would be 50% of the total amount paid
  • If you cancel the trip Less than OR equal to 15 days before the trip, the paid amount is non-refundable

 

Airline ticket refunds are the responsibility of tour members so make sure your insurance covers cancellation.

 

CANCELLATION DUE TO ENEXPECTED SITUATIONS:

If a trip is cancelled due to unexpected situations, such as a pandemic, public unrest, unfavorable weather conditions, or any similar events, we will make every effort to collaborate with all our trip partners, including hotels, guides, and other service providers, to secure the highest possible refund amount for our customers.

 

INCASE OF CANCELLATION BY TRAVELINKEDD:

In the event that Travelinkedd cancels the trip, for any reasons not mentioned above, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Travelinkedd reserves the right to cancel the tour for any reason, including insufficient numbers. If this happens refunds will be made in full which constitutes full settlement.

INSURANCE COVERAGE:

 

1. Self Travel Insurance – Insurance is not provided as part of the package. We strongly advise you to consider obtaining travel insurance protecting you as well as your family, before the tour commences.

2. Vehicle Insurance – One must ensure that s/he avails a Geographical Extension insurance policy of your vehicle before your tour commences. This is an insurance that is issued to the area that you will be traveling to and is protected by the insurance policy benefits as applicable. 

 

IS THE ITINERARY SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO VARIOUS FACTORS?

In many seen cases, itinerary changes are prompted by weather conditions, road blockages, or other natural and political unforeseen circumstances. Our team makes every effort to maintain the planned schedule, but if adjustments are necessary, such as additional reservations or tour extensions, any extra costs incurred will become the responsibility of the traveler.

 

HEALTH AND FITNESS:

All participants must be in good health and preferably possess a reasonable level of physical fitness. It is essential that you inform and educate us about any existing health conditions you may have. This information is crucial for our on-board first aid responder to be prepared and handle any unforeseen health circumstances in the most effective manner.

When filling out the registration form, kindly provide details of all your medical conditions and medications. Participants with significant ailments such as heart, lung, bronchial, or muscular disorders, very high blood pressure, or acute asthma will be required to submit a medical fitness certificate. If, during the inspection, an individual is deemed unfit for the trip, they may not be allowed to join the expedition, even after we have accepted the booking amount. In such an event, a full refund of the participant’s payment will be issued within the week.

We strive to accommodate any specific requirements you might have, whether it’s for a single room arrangement or catering to special dietary requirements. Kindly communicate these requests during the booking process. Any associated charges for such requests will be duly communicated to you. It’s important to note that we can only ensure the fulfillment of requests that have been officially confirmed in writing prior to your tour

 

HOW TO BOOK YOUR SPOT?

To secure your spot, a 50% payment of the total tour cost is required. The remaining balance must be settled within 45 days before the tour start date. For more specific information about your tour, please refer the tour itinerary.

Unless it is an international tour, it is possible, however there will not be any changes in the pricing. Having said so, we prefer everyone to start the trip from the starting location.
